Mid-Year Check-In

It’s absolutely WILD to me that we’ve entered the second half of 2025. Seriously, where has the time gone?!

With half the year under our belts and half the year to go, I think it’s time for a little mid-year check-in! Now, check-ins can be brutal for me. Truthfully, I put too much moral value on my achievements. Like, if I haven’t met many of my intentions, I must be a failure of a person. If I’m not ahead of the game, I must be months behind. I tend to… catastrophize. Like, “well, I’ve only completed two of my six intentions, so OBVIOUSLY I’m not going to be able to accomplish anything else for the rest of the year… might as well throw in the towel.” I know, I know, that’s a FANTASTIC attitude to have. I’m working on that…

But the truth is, check-ins are important and fruitful, if done with the right attitude. They give us the opportunity to be honest with ourselves on what we’ve been up to. To realign our priorities. To take action on the things we’ve been avoiding. But we have to come at it from the right perspective. A perspective of gratitude. A perspective of honesty. A genuine desire to be intentional about what’s important to us, not to beat ourselves up for what we haven’t yet accomplished.

So, let’s do a little check-in together! I’ve made a PDF of journaling questions to give us some guidance along the way. You can grab those journal pages here by signing up for my newsletter here! 😊
